Directions to the BCDL
Our lab is conveniently located along Rt. 352 in Middletown Township (near Media). It is an easy drive from I-95, I-476, Rt. 1, Rt. 3 and other surrounding highways. You can find directions from various locations in Delaware and Chester counties below. You can also use the map to the left to generate directions from your exact location. Please note that we have a reserved parking spot on campus for you and your family.
From points North (Newtown Square, Broomall)
Take I-476 South to Exit 5 (US 1, Lima, Springfield) and then follow signs for Rt. 1 South. Continue on Rt. 1 South; when the highway narrows and merges, stay in the right lane and follow signs for Rt. 352 North. After about 1.5 miles on Rt. 352, the campus will be on the left. Enter campus by making a left at the light (Campus Drive).
From points Northwest (Cheyney, West Chester)
Take Rt. 202 South and make a left onto Rt. 926 East. In approximately 4 miles, make a right onto Rt. 352 South. In approximately 4 miles, make a right to enter campus using Campus Drive at the traffic light.
From points South (Brookhaven, Aston)
Brookhaven: Take Rt. 352 North past the Granite Run Mall on your left. Approximately 1.5 miles after the Mall, you will see campus on your left. Enter campus by making a left at the light (Campus Drive).
Aston: Take Rt. 452 North through the intersection with Rt. 1. At the intersection of Rt. 452 and Rt. 1, make a left onto Rt. 352 North (it is approximately 1/2 mile after the intersection of 1 and Rt. 452. You will see campus in approximately 1 mile on your left. Enter campus by making a left at the light (Campus Drive).
From points East (Springfield, Swarthmore)
Take Rt. 1 South; when the highway narrows and merges after passing through Media, stay in the right lane and follow signs for Rt. 352 North. After about 1.5 miles on Rt. 352, the Penn State Brandywine campus will be on the left. Enter campus by making a left at the light (Campus Drive).
From points West (Glen Mills, Thornton, & Chadds Ford)
Take Rt. 1 North until you see the intersections of Rts. 1 and 452. You should make a left onto Rt. 452 North. At the next traffic light, make a left onto Rt. 352 North. In approximately 1.5 miles, you will see campus on your left. Enter campus by making a left at the light (Campus Drive).
After turning into campus at the traffic light (onto Campus Drive), make the first left. Follow this road through the stop sign until the Main Building is on your right. Family parking is available in the lot directly across from the Main Building. A member of the BCDL should be waiting for you, if not, please call 610-892-1294 or come to Room 207.

Public Transportation
SEPTA’s Bus Route 110 (local) and 111 (express) serve Penn State Brandywine and provide service to the 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The 110 (local) also makes a connection with the the 101 Trolley and the R3 Rail Line in Media, and at the Granite Run Mall, where you can also make connections for the Route 117 Bus from Chester.
